- Implement 3R projects with schools and organizations
- Develop and carry out educational programs for children (pre-k and up)
- Collect reusable materials to be used in art, school, science and craft projects
- Assist schools, local organizations, and others in need by collecting specific items
- Collect materials for upcycling (TerraCycle) and recycling
- Repurpose collected materials through activities, craft workshops, and various programs
- Perform demos, do presentations and participate in community events
- Organize an annual family festival, Wild About Nature, as well as other educational and informative events
- Recognize efforts in our community through award and certification programs
- Provide training to teachers and discussion courses to community members
- Partner with other like-minded organizations to strengthen our efforts and extend our reach
We do all this with the purpose of bringing awareness to the community. Some of those made the local news and we hope to get more coverage in the future to give this cause the well deserved attention and spring people to action!
